Round table
Lanzarote marine geopark and reserve
Lanzarote has one of the world's largest marine reserves, and this round table will discuss it from a multidisciplinary perspective: biology, geology, fishing and tourism.
Lanzarote and the Chinijo Archipelago is a geopark of oceanic volcanic islands which is not only world-famous for its geology, but here it is also possible to observe more than 15 million years of interaction between volcanic processes and erosive and sedimentary processes on both land and sea.
